I went on three field trips with – one in the fifth form, and two in the sixth. And I was always overdoing it on these things, because the old 'super crip' thing came in, I could do anything. Actually I couldn’t, I couldn’t climb Snowdon without it having quite an effect on me, because on one leg, this leg, I pulled a muscle here, and by the time I got to the top, and this was quite amazing in those days that no equipment, there was no mountain certificate needed. He went in his golf shoes, the teacher, up with a pac-a-mac.
