Michelle Daly: Butter Bread
Michelle was born in 1972 in Newham, London. She attended a local special school from age five until sixteen and then went on to a local mainstream college.

Once I left school, I had no formal qualifications and there was no way that a college could accept me to go onto any type of course. I didn't have any qualifications to be able to enter any formal, appropriate type of courses that would have given me kind of, ways into employment so I then had to enrol onto another kind of, I call it 'butter bread' type course in order for me to get some kind of basic qualification that would allow me to enrol onto doing some GCSE's.Explore more
