What Doesn’t Help

Emma: Change of Head

Emma describes one head teacher’s attitude to her support assistant.

Transcript

Primary was good to start with, primary was very good, we had a really good head teacher who made sure that everyone (was included) just, like this one. But then obviously with change comes different opinions and the, we got a new head teacher and she liked to use the one to one (support) that I had for, and I needed even more help when I was younger, so she liked to use them for stuff like cleaning out the library and things like that. Obviously that caused some unrest, to say the least because obviously mum was like, 'What! What you doing?' Because I needed (support), so obviously that was a bit difficult.
