Alice: Lights Out
Here Alice recalls the benefits of being ‘homesick’.
TranscriptBecause I was the new girl, I was allowed to be homesick after lights out, so then I was very useful to my fellow dormitory bods because I could pretend to be homesick and we could all, fiddle about after lights out and nobody would tell us off. It was very good, so that lasted at least a month into school and then I'm sure somebody clocked that I shouldn't be homesick anymore.
