Whether it be at college or at the high school, many people that I knew have turned around to me since and said, 'oh, we didn’t feel we could get near you, not because of your physical impairment or your difference, but because you were sat next to your amanuenses who was a member of staff who we thought they were quite authoritarian, so we didn’t want to get near them, just in case they sort of reported us or whatever'.
