Atinuke: Mum’s Support

Here Atinuke talks about her mum’s support at school.

Transcript

My mum has played a really, really big part in that because, if my mum wasn’t as persistent as she is, I don’t think a lot would have gotten done. Like my mum is, she really, really helped out. So she talks to the school about what you need? Yeah. And then hassles if it’s not in place. Yeah. If my mum hadn’t, life would be so much harder, because they, teachers may have seen it as like, I’m just pestering them when I ask for things to be enlarged, because they’ll have to run out of the room and things like that but because my mum came and said it, it was much easier for me. So yeah if my mum hadn’t helped I don’t know what I would have done.
