What’s Important

Jhon: Disability Equality

Jhon describes what he’d like to change.

Transcript

I think I’d like to change the awareness of disability in making sure that mainly the teachers, but also the pupils are aware of what being disabled means and how important it is that people appreciate disability and treat everyone as an individual. Because I think a lot of people think that disability means that you can’t do things and that you’re not capable of having dreams and aspirations and meeting them and I think that can cause a lot of problems when people don’t believe in you. So I think I’d like to change that and educate people on what disability is and believing in us.
